We are superior provider advocates. It’s not just a random slogan. Superior provider advocates is a description of what we are and what we believe in.

FulcrumStrategies is a provider advocacy group based in Raleigh, NC, which is made up of former health insurance professionals who could no longer sleep at night knowing the way that managed care companies were treating the American health care provider. They were completely disillusioned with what has become of a once noble industry.

Founded in July of 2004, FulcrumStrategies has grown into a successful, small business which is comprised of ten highly-skilled employees who are passionate about helping the physicians to succeed. We are dedicated to leveling the playing field between the local doctor and the big Fortune 500 HMO because we believe that physicians should be able to concentrate on what they do best—providing patients with exceptional care—without the fear of being put out of business.

FulcrumStrategies provides a variety of services to more than 45 clients in 15 states across the country. These services include Contract Negotiation, Negotiation Coaching and Negotiation Seminars, Marketing and Public Relations Consulting, and Business Advising. Fulcrum’s newest service, Public Affairs for Physicians, was created to assist hardworking physicians in understanding the federal government’s involvement in the health care system, the managed care response, and exactly how those aspects of the industry will impact physician groups and their practices.

FulcrumStrategies believes society and patients will be better served when providers are rewarded properly for what they do. However, we have no desire to be all things to all people. Organizations guided by those desires tend to not master any one aspect. We at FulcrumStrategies would much rather do the things we know and do them well! And we cannot and will not promise to take everyone on as a client. There are rare occasions when we won't be able to help a provider improve its reimbursement or business efficiency. We pledge to be honest. If we can't help you, we will tell you up front before any money is spent.
